Dan Parris is the filmmaker/activist/goofball who founded Speak Up Productions, whose mission is to make documentaries and narratives that both speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and to speak up about Truth found in all aspects of life. |
Dan is a 23 year-old filmmaker whose lingering questions after returning from Africa serve as the fuel for the film Give A Damn? He moved to Saint Louis after graduating from Biola University in Los Angeles with a B.A. in Film Production. Dan spent the previous four years working in video production and youth ministry at Chesterfield Presbyterian Church. He is currently pursuing the dream he has had for nearly a decade, to make films with impact.

David Peterka - Assistant Producer
David Peterka is the Assistant Producer and unseen strength behind Give A Damn? He is an experienced activist whose passion and knowledge of social justice and African life serve as a great asset for the team. Currently he is pursuing his degree in Intercultural and Urban Missions in St. Louis, MO and developing the project, If the Saints.

Rob Lehr - Give a Damn? Team Member
Rob Lehr is the offensive, yet delightful other perspective in Give A Damn?. Rob’s passions include hunting, poetry, filmmaking, throwing music festivals, and sharing his views no matter how you may feel about them. Rob has a degree in Business from Missouri State University. Rob and Dan’s relationship will serve as the backbone of Give A Damn?, as their different viewpoints collide and yet still their friendship grows. |

Kyle Montgomery is the Creative Marketing Director for Speak Up Productions. He is bringing years of project management skills to the table along with an extensive knowledge of printing and marketing production. Both friends old and new recently exposed him to the ongoing struggle many are dealing with in Africa, and he is ready to step up to the challenge of making waves in the World. |

Doug Parris -Management Consultant
Doug Parris is providing management consulting for Speak Up Productions. He has over 22 years of management, information systems, and consulting experience in Fortune 500 corporations. He setup the legal entity and financial systems for Speak Up Productions along with providing advise and counsel in many areas. He currently maintains the Give A Damn? website. He also has experience with poverty from traveling and living in Mexico, Peru, and Colombia.
